Love, Before the Foundations of the World – Calvary Temple VA

One of the things that brings the most joy in the hearts of Believers is the fact that God loves us. As our knowledge of God and His love increases, so does our thankfulness, joy, and peace.

We believe that God loves us. The Bible tells us that God loved us when we were yet sinners. It says that He loved us from the foundations of the world.

Paul says in Ephesians 3:19 that we can know the Love of God, a love that passes knowledge. This love is found in the sacrifice of Jesus and the forgiveness of our sins.

In this Sword of the Spirit 180 video clip, Pastor Scott reminds us of the greatness of God’s love. He shares of the redemptive work of God through the Law, helping us to see the beauty of the Day of Atonement.

From the rebellion of Adam, through the history of Israel, and up unto the day in which we live, redemption declares to us the great love of God.

The fact that God could love a sinful creation and could Himself pay the price for man’s rebellion testifies of a love far beyond the ability of mankind.

Oh, that we would know the love of God! Meditate on Him today. As you reflect on His love toward you, lift up your voice in praise to Him. Begin to thank Him for the greatness of His mercy, kindness, and love.

May we “be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height” of God’s love.

You can find this teaching in its entirety, and other biblical resources at our Calvary Temple website. This article is a ministry of Calvary Temple of Sterling, VA. Pastor Star Scott is the senior pastor. We are a ministry that teaches and lives sound doctrine.
